Amid phased office returns and stop-start economic recoveries, our continued growth in the UK and Europe means bringing on more talented Labbers. So we are delighted to announce our two newest additions to the team: Kristian Melson, who’ll serve as our new operations manager for the UK and Europe, and trainee investment writer Alex Hayes.

Kristian Melson

Kristian joins CopyLab with vast experience managing operations in digital tech, events and property maintenance, with a speciality in continuous improvement.

Originally from Hertfordshire in England, Kristian moved to Scotland in 2019 with his wife, cats and dogs, after falling in love with its landscapes, quality of life and people.

In his spare time, Kristian is an avid sportsman, playing and watching tennis or football when the weather allows.

Alex Hayes

Alex Hayes joins Copylab after completing a research internship at ECA International, where he worked within the location ratings team to help determine hardship allowances for expatriate workers in cities around the world. During his undergraduate degree at the University of St Andrews, among many other worthy pursuits, he helped found St Andrews Blanket Company, a student-run enterprise that sells St. Andrews-themed blankets to university students, locals and visitors.

Prior to university, Alex grew up in Sarasota, Florida. As a Swedish-American dual national, he has spent many summers in Sweden and travelling around Europe.

Just a few weeks into their Copylab careers, Alex and Kristian are already providing crucial support and fresh perspectives to their respective teams. Well done and welcome to Copylab!
