Today, Copylab has signed a memorandum of understanding with a Chinese communications agency with a commitment to incorporate a joint venture in six months. This is a huge step for Copylab that will enable our clients to access Copylab-grade investment writing services in Chinese.
Copylab Asia and Beijing Pin Wen Yue Xiang Brand Management Ltd have agreed to create Copylab China in a joint venture that will be based in Beijing. The business will be led by Li Na, who is a director of China Central Television’s finance channel (CCTV-2).
Copylab founder Ross Hunter said, “This deal has taken over two years to complete and represents a fantastic opportunity for Copylab and our clients.”
Copylab China managing director Li Na commented, “This is a great partnership that will help western financial services companies gain a sure foothold in China, and help Chinese companies communicate their services to the west.”
Copylab’s clients in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia will be able to access a network of fantastic Chinese-language investment writers, editors and journalists – all curated using Copylab’s robust screening and recruitment process. Copylab China will give western asset managers more confidence to communicate their services in Chinese markets with the quality assurance that comes with being a Copylab client.
Ross added, “Our vision at Copylab is to support the asset management community with their communications wherever in the world they choose to do business. This deal to create Copylab China has been difficult to get over the line. But sometimes the hardest earned things are also the most rewarding.”
